I'm in NYC at the moment, staying with Carol, jsut been chilling this afternoon, walked up to my fave coffee shop to get a "black eye" (double espresso with filtercoffee ontop) but it was closed. I bought some fried nasties from the funny mexican/spanish shop on the corner of Clinton St on the way back. Tommie Sunshine was in Xcris' studdio recording a mix CD so we hung out and swapped some trax etc. I heard one of the new Fisherspooner tracks called "Just Let Go"... HEAVY... and its Drrrum&Bass speed... SO I'm gona have a go at remixing it. One of Tommie Sunshine's new tracks is almost fast enough to be considered DnB speed too, so he's gona send me over the pro tools session so I can remix that. Nice one. Gona get ready later on for the big gig here in NYC tonight, its Thanksgiving Eve, which is pretty much the busiest night for going out in America - I'm playing at a really big Dnb Party here with Andy C and all teh NYC crew, so its surely going to be funfunffun. Then its Buzz in DC on friday I think. nnnnnice. See ya all later!
